Meet Alina Hetz, Principal of AHID: a New York-based interior design firm that cultivates high end private residences

Behind AHID is my ambition to create design that makes an impact. Every project I take on is guided by two principles: timelessness and function. Instead of having a signature look, I draw inspiration from travel, place, and the individuality of my clients, ensuring each space feels innovative, fresh, and distinctly theirs.

A New York native, I shaped my design perspective through years of study and travel, experiences that continue to inform my work today. My approach blends unexpected elements with harmony, elegance, and usability – always rooted in environmental psychology, ergonomics, and the unique preferences of my clients. From concept to the final walkthrough, I oversee every phase of a project to ensure a cohesive, thoughtful vision is carried through to completion.
